Sevendust -- Mankato, MN -- June 23rd, 2010
Face to Face
In my opinion, Sevendust is one of the most underrated bands of the last decade. Their songs can be a little repetitive, but there are very few bands that match the intensity of their live performances. This show was at a tiny bar in an out-of-the-way town in southern Minnesota, and Sevendust still played with the same level of energy and passion that they always have. I think Sevendust ended up playing here because a few shows scheduled in the area on the Buck Cherry tour got cancelled. The cancellations resulted in Sevendust playing in a bar the size of my basement to about 225 people. It was amazing and I hope they come back and play the same place again (or maybe a venue just as small closer to the Twin Cities area).
Just curious what place did Sevendust play at? I'm just curious if it's the same place I've played in Mankato.
Oh ok. I've played The What's Up Lounge and The Tank. Busters would be cool to play as well.
