This is from one of those open air festivals Europe gets every year. Solid set, with nine songs it seems like they got an OK amount of time to play. Also, nice to see them promoting the new album by doing three new ones.

That's a new event, actually. Debut year.

Will have to see what reports are like. Most of the European festivals are shit because 90% of the bands only get 30 minutes to play. Nevermore got 60 minutes at this one.

I'm seeing them play a proper headlining show on Tuesday. Death Angel supporting.

Kinda standard set but still very awesome. Can't wait till they hit the States, where I'd imagine the set will be at least six or seven songs longer. :horns:

I didn't mean that the festival they were playing was old. I just meant European metal fests in general. I'm intrested in what they'll do at the show you'll be at since they're headling. Should be intresting since they like to switch the sets up a bit.

It probably will be everywhere they headline. I'll let you know on Tuesday ;)

im really hoping they dont keep Your Poison Throne in the set, bout the only new song i dont like at all. everything else is decent. they should throw in the title track. the best song imo

I love the title track as well. They might not do much until the album is officially released though. Not everyone went to a torrent sight like I did and got it last week:D I think 'And The Maiden Spoke' along with 'Moonrise' need to be in the set as well. I like 'Your Poison Throne' and and the "Rise, rise, rise" part makes it a good live tune because it can get everyone involved.

I ordered the CD/T-shirt package for the new album off their myspace. So i'll be getting that in a few weeks or so depending how long shipping takes:mad: Also, am I the only one who thinks it's strange that all a band as good as Nevermore has to promote themselves on the internet is a fuckin myspace page? They don't even have a homepage anymore. What the fuck happened to that?

:horns:I hope They start playing And the Maiden spoke when the new album comes out. Nevermore is one of my favorite metal bands ever probaly second favorite somewhere in the top 5. Ive been listening to rock/metal for about 8 years and no band has blown me away has much as Nevermore.

Sick set for such a short time. Can't wait til they come to the States with a much longer set. Gonna be a good day :fist:
