What's up with CC and Ole Nessie there in the middle?

Ole Nessie

I'm guessing he copied the previous set and they just added 2 songs, which would be awesome.

If that's the case, I'm PISSED I can't see em this tour! Crusher Destroyer, Ole Nessie, AND Blood and Thunder? Fuck me sideways with a lunchbox!

Adding Ol'Nessie on top of the already awesome additions of Crusher Destroyer,I Am Ahab and the return of Blood and Thunder is almost too much awesome to handle:D:rocker:

Alright guys heres my review.

Great gig! I met up with my friend and some of his friends for the show. When we got in Valient Thorr was playing. The show must have started early or something, we got in at 7:05 and the gates were supposed to open at 7. They sounded pretty good, their frontman was energetic and funny, will look into them more. Also, I'm about to try out for a band soon, it happned the frontman of them was also at this gig and he watched Thorr with me and we headbanged together. He left later because we were getting into a heavily crowded area and he wanted to watch with his dad, but it was nice to hang with him! During the break we scooted a bit forward, by the time Mastodon came on we were right behind the people on the rail. But Thorr was really fun, I can't provide their set because I'm not familiar with their material. BTBAM and Mastodons sets are on the OP.
Valient Thorr- 8.5/10

Unfortunately Baroness wasn't at our show for some reason, so BTBAM came on next. This was sort on a "make it or break it" night for them, as I've been kinda iffy on them. I am not a fan of metalcore, and their metalcore influences do bother me a little bit, however they pulled it off tonight. A decent performance, enough for me to continue listening to them, however, I can only really listen to them in small doses, and would probably never pay for them alone at a gig. I also think they could have had a better set.
BTBAM- 8/10

Mastodon!!!!! YESSSSSSS. This was my friends favorite band of all time, and he really enjoyed this. Crack the Skye sounded great, and they threw in CC and Ol'e Missie as a suprise! We had a very good view of Brent. He looked at us a couple of times. The crowd got pretty energetic for the encore and it was fun as hell. But boy we had a great time, very good show.
Mastodon- 9/10

2. Prequel to the Sequel

I just had one of those "Holy shit I'm an idiot" moments. Though I listen to and enjoy most of BTBAM... and though I was at one time a regular Rock Band player... I never ever connected the band and song until this thread. I am a dumbass and I still don't know what the fuck the song is about.
