Very cool. Here's someone I would actually enjoy seeing play a guitar solo as a part of the set. Nice to see Civil War since Axl doesn't even do that one anymore.

Is it just slash and his band playing or is/was there a singer too

The_jman 04-12-2010 08:09 PM

Kind of makes him look like a follower to Axl if he's closing with paradice city, just like "GNR" does.

I'd rather hear Slash play Paradise City with some anonymous schmuck singing than Axl sing it (probably badly) without Slash in the band.

Saw that this was the Alter Bridge song of the same name, performed with Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge on vocals and guitar. Cool.

He sings two tracks on the Slash album, they're both quite good.

Cool. I actually am seeing via YouTube that he sang a good bit of the show, including Civil War, which is for me the obvious highlight since it's like the one GnR song I genuinely like.

Axl is the only one of the original gunners that doesn't appear on Slash.

And Izzy, Slash & Duff have released ten times more material than GNR since 1993. Axl's the jerk and the only reason there hasn't been a reunion yet.
