Immortal -- Hollywood, CA -- April 2nd, 2010
Fucking awesome show!!
I didn't like Lightning Swords of Death when they opened for Kreator, and that opinion hasn't changed much after seeing them again tonight. After I was done shooting during the first three Immortal songs, I head banged for the whole fucking time. :rocker::rocker::rocker: The set list was most probably the same. I am not a 100% certain about that. My reviewer will confirm and I'll post a link to the review when he sends it to me. Here are my pictures! http://www.metalassault.com/gallery.php |
*shakes head* I wish they came to Minnesota...

http://www.metalassault.com/gallery.php
i didn't really like LSOD either. i was kind of annoyed that the vocalist kept that voice even between songs... i was like dude drop the act and use your normal voice! then again i'm not that much of a black metal fan... i just love immortal though |
$62? what's with the overpricing? they did that last time they played here. Emperor also charged $50 when they played here a few years ago and that was at the Key Club which is a pretty small venue. was this show even packed? because the Avalon is a pretty big venue and i have no idea if that many people are willing to pay $50+ to see them.

By the time Immortal hit the stage it was quite packed. I don't blame them for the overpricing because they got only four (right?) shows to constitute a North American tour. They gotta make their money! |
