"Manowar" is missing from the first line of the setlist! For the first time in a Manowar gig!!! :eek:
And only 3 songs from the 80's & 90's. Great new stuff-oriented tracklist IMO. (On last tour they've played a plenty of old and rarely played songs, so...)

only song i really know by them is black wind, fire and steel. anyone want to suggest a good starting spot for this band?

I think Kings Of Metal album (1988) is a good starting spot. Only great songs are there. But also Battle Hymns, Into Glory Ride, Hail To England and Sign Of The Hammer are killers. For me these 5 albums are The Classics.

The album Kings of Metal is definitely their best one. Fighting the World is a close second, though, IMO.

When are these guys gonna tour the USA again? The last time (and only time) I saw them was summer 2002, right before Warriors of the World came out. What a great show that was!

I'd go with "Hail to England"

That being said, in my opinion, every Manowar setlist MUST have "Kill with Power" - a glaring omission...

Anyway, great set, though very surprised they didn't do Manowar here.
