I am going to shit blood for a week after that show's over.
and The Sword
Austin, Texas quartet THE SWORD will embark on a short U.S. headlining tour in January. The band will preview brand new songs from its as-yet-untitled third record, which is due in 2010.
The dates are as follows:
Jan. 23 - Corpus Christi, TX - House of Rock
Jan. 24 - Houston, TX - Warehouse Live Studio
Jan. 25 - Baton Rouge, LA - Spanish Moon
Jan. 27 - Memphis, TN - Hi-Tone Café
Jan. 28 - Oklahoma City, OK - Conservatory
Jan. 29 - Denton, TX - Rubber Gloves
That clinches the fact that I do believe I need to go finally see Obituary and that date in Tulsa really just clinched it for me.

They are God-like live! You didn't see them in KC last year with Unleashed? I was front and center. Best concert of my life!
Thought this would be the appropriate place to post this.

Haha, that's how I've felt for the last few years when awesome tours hit the Middle East. This show is less than a week after I turn 18, but I don't like BDM, so...I probably won't be going.

AHH HOLY SHIT
That's awesome that I get to see Obituary again. When they were in Milwaukee in September, they looked pissed off during the whole show, and someone in the crowd messed up Ralph's effects pedal. I honestly didn't think they'd come back.
