Machine Head:
Imperium Ten Ton Hammer Struck A Nerve ? Halo Davidian Megadeth: Set The World Afire Wake Up Dead Hangar 18 Skin O' My Teeth Headcrusher A Tout Le Monde Hook In Mouth Tornado of Souls 1,320 In My Darkest Hour Washington Is Next! 44 Minutes Trust Sweating Bullets Symphony Of Destruction Peace Sells ------------------------- Holy Wars... The Punishment Due Great show. Arcanium and Suicide Silence were god awful and Machine Head was pretty good even though I'm not a big fan. All the guys had a great stage presence and I was very impressed by Broderick (the other 3 times I've seen Megadeth was with Glen Drover). There's only two things I could complain about: the vocals were WAY too low, it was hard to hear Dave when he was just talking to the crowd. And Rattlehead is the song I've been wanting to hear live since my first Megadeth show and they dropped it. :snivel: Oh, and I snapped a few pictures of a shirtless Dave during the encore. |
Hey, mate ... we both posted at the same time!!! Two great minds and all that!!! ;)

I was there yesterday, and by my count Suicide Silence had 25 breakdowns in their 6 songs.
Totally sucks that they didn't play Rattlehead, though we did get Washington is Next! |

Never have seen that played yet. Still a great show though. Cant believe nobody was moshing though, I know they have the signs that say no, but I have been to the National 7 or 8 times before and people always do and nobody ever got in trouble. |
Machine Head was on point, Halo was amazing....I checked the following nights show and megadeth opened with dialetic chaos, which I think would be much cooler than set the world afire but I cant complain too much...Dave threw a big handful of picks right in front of me and I ended up not getting any, I was quite pissed off.

There was some moshing for Megadeth and a lot for Machine Head, they did sort of a wall of a death but smaller and it wasnt a wall but he had everyone back up and said go or whatever. Definitely a lot of energy for Machine Head, I cant wait til they do some headlining tours.... |
