Good lord I could be musing over this for weeks on end and not have a conclusive top ten..

1. PanterA - Vulger Display of Power
2. Pixies - Doolittle
3. Megadeth - Rust in Piece
4. Slash Snakepit - Its Five o Clock Somewhere
5. NoFX - Pump up the Valuum
6. Dream Thater - Images and Words
7. Machine Head - Burn my Eyes
8. Nirvana - Nevermind
9. The Cranberries - No Need to Argue
10. Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Honestly, PanterA and Slayer wouldve both gotten more mentions if i was arsed..

Oh, me too, but I invested too much time into the 2000s lists and the dozen lists I'm doing for 2009, never mind that I am contractually obligated to make decade-end lists for the newspaper. I just don't need to backtrack a full decade right now.

Man, I wouldn't even know where to start with this. I'm like 99% certain that it would be all non-metal.
