Clutch -- Atlanta, GA -- October 7th, 2009
great show. I was disappointed no "I have the body of John Wilkes Booth," "Elephant Riders" or "Mob Goes Wild," and 7 songs from the new record was a bit much. But the set was awesome, and between the band and the crowd there was a lot of energy.

Hmm I will agree that 7 songs from new album is a bit much. I was lucky to get "John Wilkes Booth". I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way but does anyone else think "Abraham Lincoln" is a really boring song either live or on the cd? IMO it is kind of a crowd killer. Atleast for my show it kind of was. I'm jealous you got Big News but I'm not sure if I have seen "Devil And Me" as an encore. And OMG no Electric Worry I'm shocked.
And a side note... hell yes post # 300!!!!!!! |

It worked for me. I like the doomy-ness of Abraham Lincoln. That sort of release of momentum is kind of necessary during a long set. Just so it can be built back up again. |
would like to see electric worry as well

Lincoln might be my favorite on the new album.

Idk I have tried to listen to the song several times. It's Clutch so I automatically want to like it but it just doesn't want to take. Oh well, I guess there are worse problems to have. :D

I like Abe Lincoln on cd, but its been my beer/piss break every time i have seen them play it live
