Welcome Home (Sanitarium) 10. My Apocalypse (With a New Creepy Intro according to metontour) :rocker: 11. The Day That Never Comes 12. Master of Puppets 13. Blackened 14. Nothing Else Matters 15. Enter Sandman _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 16. Helpless 17. Hit The Lights 18. Seek and Destroy Another top quality setlist, including the welcome return of Wherever I May Roam rather than Holier Than Thou, and also putting No Remorse in place of a Death Magnetic song. Next up is another Sonisphere Festival in Finland. |
glad to see where ever I may roam in the set again, but liked last night's 4 horseman over no remorse but not bad at all.
|
Deffinately good to see Roam back in again. I wonder why the song had such a long absence from the set? It looks like they might be rotating songs off Kill 'Em All after BBS which is cool. Sanitarium needs to be in more often than it's been this tour and please take out NEM and put Fade in it's place. Doing Helpless is cool since it's one of the few good songs of the covers they do.
|
I love nothing else matters, but it would be neat to see fade in the set more often. they should put one later in the set and put fade in its place.
I love nothing else matters
I think that's the first time i've ever read that statement anywhere. I wouldn't have a problem with them doing it if they rotated it with something else. But by that taking a spot in the set every night it forces much better songs like Fade, Sanitarium, Horsemen, Creep and Bells from being played. Those songs used to be in every night and to think they favor doing NEM all the time over these songs is very disturbing to me. |
...
Metontour failed to mention that Kirk and Lars jammed a bit on Mercyful Fateīs Satanīs Fall and Into the coven prior to Helpless!!
Nice show overall, my first Metallicagig and I got 6 out of my top 10list so Iīm happy :) |
I would've taken them doing one of those songs in full instead of Helpless. They were in Copenhagen where Mercyful Fate is from so it does make sense for them to play a little something from them to bad it wasn't a full song though. |
Where ever i may roam
My Apocalypse Nothing Else matters 3 Good songs to go for a piss or get a beer during the set, in my case. |
Where ever i may roam
My Apocalypse Nothing Else matters 3 Good songs to go for a piss or get a beer during the set, in my case.
I agree. Roam is too commerical, Apocalypse is a poor excuse for thrash, and Nothing is plainful. |
Another top quality setlist
I disagree. It's still following the same pattern. I hope they change it for show #4 on Monday. |
