So there!

Hey, a new album too! Their last one is one of my favorite albums of all time, so I'd say I'm optimistic. :D

King's X supporting Porcupine Tree = Facepalm

I would tend to agree with this, but I have missed them on their last few tours for various reasons so I am glad to get to see them again. Plus I think they could get some good exposure on this tour. That is never a bad thing.

I disagree very strongly.

Damn it. I keep thinking about this and it just pisses me off. I have wanted to see King's X for a good while now, and this is just one more thing coming in the way of it. Even though they share some fans, these two bands shouldn't be touring together. I think it's somewhat insulting to King's X, who have been plugging away for years and years making great music only to be slapped in the face repeatedly by most of the world... and now Porcupine Tree, are now becoming one of the most overrated bands on the planet in my opinion are having them open for them. I basically just look at it like this: This tour features one of the most underrated bands of all time opening for one of the most overrated bands in recent years.

Wrong. I don't see how Porcupine Tree have been getting more overrated recently when their best stuff is on their last three discs, and I will also mention that they have been around since the early 90s, which is the same amount of time as King's X? And I'm not a King's X fan, but will watch them, and if you're not a Porcupine Tree fan, you could do the same for them.

 King's X may be somewhat tragically underrated, but Porcupine Tree is still miles ahead, sorry.
