F'in awesome show. Didn't have any luck getting permission, so I pulled a typical stealth operation. Had never been to this venue before, so I was unsure how the filming conditions would be. Turns out they were great : Nice balcony, and very little security. Thought they sounded great, but as usual, they were all corpses on stage, except Glen, who moved around a little, and got some headbanging in. Check out his rant against the Mormon Bible before 'Desecration'. Funny stuff.
My buddy and I got a solid buzz via Smirnoff Orange + Monster Lo-Carb before the show. Got a good spot on the balcony before Deicide came on, and filmed away. Complete show, no obstructions, great closeups, and solid audio. Only drawback is it's a little shaky in places: As I said, I was hammered. The walk back to to the hotel was a pain in the ass. Went out the back way, was able to meet Jack Owen from Deicide. Told him I loved Cannibal Corpse, too. He didn't seemed to be thrilled, LOL. The back door led us to a deserted alley, took me about 35 minutes to get back to the hotel. Sucked. Check out the YouTube clips below:
