NECROPHAGIST - SUFFOCATION
ENSIFERUM** - DARKEST HOUR
WINDS OF PLAGUE - DYING FETUS
BORN OF OSIRIS - ORIGIN - BENEATH THE MASSACRE*
AFTER THE BURIAL - DECREPIT BIRTH* - BLACKGUARD**
+ Surprise Regional Special Guests TBA!!

*= 1st Half of Tour
**=2nd Half of Tour

GET READY FOR THE ARTWORK AND DATES NOW!!
SHREDDIE IS BACK AND BADDER THAN EVER!

IMO, this lineup beats last years. Last year's only real draws for me were Vader and Kataklysm, and maybe Cryptopsy to see how they are live with the new vocalist.

Though, I swear, if Massachusetts isn't on the SECOND half of the tour (with Ensiferum), I'll be pissed, since they're one of my favorite bands.

where did you see this? i saw it on blabbermouth.

ORIGIN! GET READY TO SEE WHAT KIND OF FUCKING BRUTAL METAL YOU MAKE FROM LIVING IN KANSAS (because there's nothing else to do) :rocker:

But yeah, all those bands are A+ except for Winds Of Plague. Can't wait to see Dying Fetus again. :)

I know Blabber is saying that no official announcement has been made, but that was posted in a bulletin by the official Summer Slaughter myspace, after a post last week saying that we'd know the lineup on Friday the 13th.

Not a fan of Darkest Hour, Winds of Plague, Born of Osiris, or Decrepit Birth. Never heard After the Burial.

But, Ensiferum :)

Best Summer Slaughter line-up so far, in my opinion.

Whats Ensiferum and Blackguard doing on a brutal death tour? Sucks cuz honestly I'm not much a fan of death metal and I love Ensiferum, if they were touring North America again I'd rather a tour more suited to their style.

I think it'll work. You can't have all death, all the time. And it could make up for some of the deathcore.

Carcass should do a 3rd reunion tour, with Summer Slaughter.
And Cattle and Aborted should be on here.
Then it truly would be the best Summer Slaughter :D

But Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Ensiferum, Origin are all amazing.
With they had less deathcore though.

well JuuKun says that Ensiferum is only on the 2nd half
6/30 @ HOB LA seems like that is the 1st half of the tour being that is a summer tour

Where did you find tour dates?

Live Nation shows that 6/30 date. It looks like that's the only date its showing so far and it goes on sale 3/21.

July 2 is Portland, Oregon.

And Ensiferum is on that date, so that means that's the 2nd half

Which sucks for me because that means if I get a date, it'd probably be on the first half which means no ensiferum. :(

that is for the 6/30 show and it shows partil of the lineup
but it only says Necro, Suffo, DH, WoP, and DF.

I reaally hope Ensiferum is on this date because i'd love to see them again on Summer Slaughter.

I know it's not gonna happen, but if there was a date here, I'd want it to be one with Ensifereum. That way it's basically like a leap-frog from good band to shit band.

Suffocation should be on all dates.

I thought so, too, but if you look at their tour schedule on their website, there is a chunk of Summer Slaughter dates they're missing. They play up until the Seattle date on 7/03, and then drop off the tour, except they DO play the first NYC date on 7/19.

Nothing's really been said about it, which is why I was shocked too when I saw Ensiferum second from the top even on the graphic on the venue's website, so it's not a fluke or anything.

Not last three. That was already cleared up a page or two back - they're headlining two Canadian dates and the Washington one.
