I'll hit either the NYC show or the Baltimore, MD show. Classic Strato will always be fantastic in my eyes, even if the new album sucks.

Strato always play NYC at around the first 2-3 weeks of September. :eyes:

:bouville: Almost all Middle East shows are 18+. I'll be 17. God damn it. Fake ID? Maybe.

Ugh, yeah, I was in the same situation when Kamelot/Edguy played there. :\ If you have a parent who's willing to get you in, you can get in (however untr00 this method is, I used it because my mum was just as big a fan of Kamelot as I was, and it worked marvelously) ... if you can't, then you're basically fucked, because I've heard horror stories of how hard that venue is on IDs. There've been people turned away for having photo IDs that happened to be expired & out-of-state...

Come on, power metal bands, what do you have against the Palladium? :hmm:

I need more information about this.

Where did you find out about this? I can't find anything on the Middle East's website. Is it only for specific shows or all of them?
Also, does the parent just have to be there to consent to you going in, or do they have to go INTO the show with you too?

EDIT: Also, is there a specific guideline for this "parent" getting you in? Do they have to be over a certain age that isn't 18? Like, do they have any restrictions you're aware of.

I found out about it by calling the venue when the Kamelot dates last year were announced. The parent has to come in with you, and there's some crappy rule about them having to have you in their line of sight at all times, though I'm sure there's a bit of leeway if you're on the older side of the scale. The problem with that is that the Middle East is *tiny as hell* (think the Palladium Upstairs, but even tinier than that) and 98% standing room only, so if you're going to use that method to get in, make sure that said parent has insoles or something (unless they're really hardcore).

HOW I GOT IN: They checked my mom's ID; my mom said that I was with her; they stamped my hand and let me in. :P

Update:

Supposedly, Pagan's Mind is the main support act for this tour. They're being advertised by a few of the venues.

Which means now, it's necessary for me to find a way to attend, because Pagan's Mind were my very first metal band.

I will definitely go to this show if Pagan's Mind is opening.

Yeah, Pagans Mind is listed as the support for both the New York and Baltimore, MD shows, which are the two I have to choose between going to. I had kind of counted on not going to this due to my otherwise hectic September, but if Pagans Mind are opening, I feel that it's far too awesome to pass up.
