I, for one, will be looking forward to it.

Blink were my first 2 concerts.

guilty pleasures thread, go

They were my first concert as well. Not sure I'll shell out the money to see them on a reunion tour, though.

Yeah, I'll definitely go see them if it comes near.

N/M, I heard a rumor that they might be opening for Green Day on a future tour. If that happens, I will be there.

Barf.

I almost went to the Pop Disaster tour back in Junior High (blink-182, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World) but I didn't. Green Day is horrible now.

I STILL kick myself for not going to Pop Disaster.

 I don't think I've ever even heard one of their songs!

Mother of God. That's all we need.

On the Grammys last night when they announced it, saying that they want to make music together again and all that - I flipped. Stuff went flying, I was screaming and jumping. They were my first favorite band, the band that got me into music. And when they broke up, I was in 6th grade, I hadn't had a chance to see them. So, this is the perfect time, assuming they DON'T open for Green Day.
That'd be terrible. I'd still go and leave before GD, though.

I never liked them, so I'm not getting any of the nostalgia you guys are.

I used to like them quite a bit when I was younger, but I still don't give a shit about them reuniting. :eyes:

While I was definitely aware that they were on haitus, I didn't exactly think they were broken up.

Blink has a tad bit of nostaligia for me (I remember playing some of their songs in a cover band) but not enough to see them live.

I remember the first song I saw live by them. It was "Rock Show" and they came out on stage with "FUCK" in flames above them.

i know you're depraved of shows because you live in kansas, but come on.

Wow, that's almost as badass as Avril Lavigne spitting at a photographer.

Win

I remember these guys when everyone else liked them in elementary school, I can honestly say that I always despised the band. When you're too bubble gum for an 8 year old, there's a problem.

Being an ex-8 year old, I can say that at that age you can never have too much bubblegum.

Yeah even as I kid I hated this band, even though I was into pretty shitty music back in the day. Its a clear path I can see now though; instead of rebelling against the kids who liked this by listening to Saxon and Angel Witch, I turned to stuff like Linkin Park and Disturbed :(

Disturbed > Blink182 > Linkin Park > Opeth

Blink182 > Linkin Park > Opeth

 It's a stretch though to say that Blink 182 could be preferable to any style of music really.

I'd still put Linkin Park ahead of Blink 182, even though I never liked either of them. Thank god for cKy.
