That's actually one worth posting as opposed to the dozens that have previously been posted from the livemet site.

I was there, sick show. Before they did Stone Cold Crazy they teased The Frayed Ends Of Sanity.

Yeah, it's like there are 15 songs in this setlist that they haven't played yet on this tour...

Yea, I was there last night. Badass set, Damage Inc. and Phantom Lord were the best of the night in my opinion. Pyro on One, Sandman and Damage was cool. The beach balls at the start of Seek and Destroy was really cool too

The Machine Head setlist was the same as previous shows:

Clenching The Fists Of Dissent
Imperium
Beautiful Mourning
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Halo
Davidian

Look, I really like Machine Head, but that setlist is boring as hell (I mean: it hasn't changed much since the blackening came out).

It's changed a little bit. They switched out Aesthetics Of Hate and Old for Halo, Beautiful Mourning and Hallowed Be Thy Name. And they played Struck A Nerve when I saw them at the Mayhem Festival last summer.

But yeah, a little more variety would be nice.

So many older metal bands today should learn from Metallica in how to pick setlists.

Agreed, probably the only thing they do right nowadays (besides play the old stuff, duuuhhh).

So true. Thats why its worth seeing them more than once on the same tour. cos you know you won't get the same set of songs, as is the case with EVERY other band.

Yeah I agree to that. I mean there are those songs that they've stapled in there completely like Puppets, Sandman, Nothing, Sad, and Seek as well as the Death Magnetic songs - but there are spots where they change it up on different dates.

Looking at setlists from bands like...say Helloween and Gamma Ray from 2008's Hellish Rock tour - NOTHING was different other than a few dates where they just took out ONE song. And Helloween's been around for over 20 years...and still play setlists that don't change at all for one tour?
