Tinnitus Over Europe Tour
Venue: Islington Academy
Support: Andre Matos / H.E.A.T.
Stage Times: 20:25 - 22:00

Dead Or Rock
Speedhoven
Nine Lives
Until We Rise Again
The Pharoah
Ministry of Saints
Drums
The Pride of Creation
The Headless Game
Save Me
Superheroes
--------------
Out of Control
Lavatory Love Machine
King of Fools

I think this is right. I've no idea on the support setlists. The door staff were so slow I missed all but two songs from H.E.A.T., and Andre Matos' sound was so bad for his vocals, I've no idea what he was singing.

Dead Or Rock
Speedhoven
Ministry of Souls
The Pride of Creation

Great selections off the new album, Dead or Rock should be a fun opener and Speedhoven rules.

Nine Lives

Bad selection, should've done Wake Up Dreaming Black, 929, or Dragonfly instead.

Until We Rise Again
The Pharoah
The Headless Game

... jaw on floor. x100
I've been bitching about the stupid predictability of their sets, mainly the ignoring of all pre-Hellfire Club non-hits, and they go and pull out these. Fuckin' A. Well played. THE PHAROAH!!!!!!!!!! :rocker::party:

Save Me
Superheroes
Lavatory Love Machine
King of Fools

Predictable. They're never going to stop playing Lavatory Love Machine so I guess I should just live with it, and at least it's fun live. Superheroes is catchy, Save Me is overly cheesy and whatnot but I confess I love it, and King of Fools is a solid song but a bad closer.

Out of Control

Classic song, glad to see it return.

I could nit-pick and find further criticisms, but the bottom line is that if they do this set list in North America in the fall, I will be fucking thriled.

Actually, that ruled.

Any Chance To Get Andre Matos Setlist?

I looked on the Edguy forum, one guy posted something, but it's out of order and he says there was a song or two he was unsure about.

But he is sure on Angra's "Nothing to Say" and "Carry On", as well as the tracks of Matos' "Time to Be Free" album: "Letting Go", "Rio", and "How Long". He also says Matos performed Journey's "Separate Ways".

Could be better, but I like it.

Hmm, half the new album, some surprises from Vain Glory Opera CD - which is awesome! Love that album, but now missing other favorites like Mysteria, Vain Glory Opera :bouville:, Sacrifice...honestly I didn't like the new album that much but the songs they chose to perform were some of ones I liked better except "Nine Lives" which should be like "Wake Up Dreaming Black" or something. Speedhoven is a big fuck yes, that's my favorite on the album. Dead Or Rock...interesting opener. Well, I'll see what they'll have when they come to the USA again.

If they dump Until We Rise Again, The Pharoah, and/or The Headless Game for stuff like Vain Glory Opera, Tears of a Mandrake, Mysteria, Babylon, etc, I probably won't go to see them this fall.
This fall will be my fifth time seeing Edguy (2004, 2005, 2007, 2008), and I have been bored to death with their set lists as of late. This would be my fourth time seeing VGO and Tears, and my third seeing Mysteria and Babylon. I'd rather have gems like those that I've never seen before.

I have to agree with you. I'd love to see The Pharoah, since it seems they don't play it that often and Mandrake is my favorite Edguy album. I, on the other hand, have never seen Edguy before - but I'm sure I'll see them more than once, so there's plenty of time for me to see Tears of a Mandrake (even if it's my favorite Edguy song, period), Vain Glory Opera, etc at another show. So, bring on the lesser-played songs! BRING ON THE PHAROAH!

this setlist works for me esp when they include the headless game. but if they were to bring back the standards i wouldnt complain since ive never seen Edguy before. I decided to go see Kamelot instead of Edguy back in 07. (the shows were like 2 weeks apart and i could only afford one at the time).

I feel the same exact way, especially since Until We Rise Again is one of my favorite Edguy songs.
