I just so happen to not be doing anything at all between 2/3 and 2/5.

If they play anything similar to that, I don't know. I just saw AC/DC so my life will be even more complete than it already is.

Not a huge Meshuggah fan, though I wouldn't mind seeing them. Would love to see Cynic, so hopefully this gets some Texas dates.

I don't give a shit about Meshuggah but if this hits Cincy or Columbus, I'm there for Cynic.

@ mankvill: Get Cynic's new one, Traced in Air. I might eventually move it into my top three or five for the year. It is such a fucking grower.

It so is! I didn't really enjoy it much at first, now I'm obsessed with it, and it's at #2, threatening to take album of the year.

Also super excited for this, even though I don't care about Meshuggah. Check out Cynic's recent live videos on YouTube--they're fucking deadly. Where's my Cynic/Atheist tour!?!:mad:

I just noticed that, that sucks. Cynic and Possessed are supposed to do a full tour next year though.

If a Worcester date isn't announced as one of the last two, I'll probably see about going down to NYC for this one.

At least it's not Hot Topic.

I couldn't care less if HOLLISTER was sponsoring this tour. It's Meshuggah and Cynic!

Now, in the case of, say, SOTU 07 where Hot Topic sponsorship obviously played a role in who got on the bill and who placed where, then that's different. But it's not like The Faceless is headlining and Cynic goes out to play 10 minutes just because Myspace is sponsoring the tour.

It's not a problem, it's just ironic.

Damn I would really love to go to this one. Still haven't seen The Faceless play live but I think they'd be fun. They probably draw a very -core crowd though...

Definitely will find a way to go to a Cynic/Possessed show though.

They added a 2/14 Milwaukee, WI date. Would it be wrong for me to leave the wife at home on Valentines Day to attend this?

Dude it's Meshuggah and Cynic. Take her out the night before, it's still a friday.
I'm guessing this will be the last US tour for Meshuggah on this cycle unless they do Ozzfest or something like that.

Ha ha! I agree, but I am seeing Meshuggah and Cynic the night before in St. Paul. I'll work something out. So far, I have Meshuggah playing near home on a Friday night, then they are playing Milwaukee on Saturday night. It doesn't get any better than that! I'll have to work something sweet out for the wife. I can't miss these shows!

It was probably sold out already. If not, somebody else got to enjoy it.
