It's that time of year. FOOTBALL PICK 'EM. To join the METALSETLISTS Football Pick 'Em at Yahoo: (http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem)

1. Click on that link.
2. Our Group ID is 46916. Our Password is 666.

The rules, these be for this year:

1. Pick the winner of each NFL game. You can make your choice up to five minutes before each game. No odds. No spreads. No bullshit. Just pick the winner.

2. Your lowest weekly score will be dropped. This year, it's just one week grace. So if you forget to play a week or your dartboard fails you, it's ok.

I fucked up. I thought I had set it to 5 minutes per EACH game and it was set to 5 minutes before the FIRST game.

I've corrected the setting. I've also changed the rules so that the lowest two weekly scores (versus one) will be dropped from the season.

That's cool, I was just looking around in the roster of the people we have playing (which is a huge amount of people playing compared to all the other years), and I found that Yahoo keeps records for each player of each year. If you go to the list of people playing and click on someone and click on their manager (for example me L@rd$, and click the manager Steve P), it brings you to this info.

I've been playing this since we first started in the 2005/2006 season back when we had an Odds game and a Straight game. 7 people in the Straight game, 6 people in the Odds game. Then in 06/07 season we had 13 players. Then in 07/08 season we had 8 players. Now this season we have 24 players, haha.

Got the 3rd place trophies for both Straight and Odd games the first year. 2nd place trophy the second year. 3rd place trophy the third year. Maybe Shurenough will start sucking so I can get 1st place this year :allan:

Yet another wonderful super bowl however.... what a bunch of bullshit calls yet again. I thought this was god damn Super Bowl XL all over again. Maybe towards the last part of the game the calls somewhat evened out on the Cardinals behalf but for fuck sacks!!! Why didn't they through Harrison out after sucker punching that Cardinal guy in the 3rd Quarter? I will give credit where credit is due but still you cannot be serious w/ some of those calls? Im a Steelers fan and XL had way more questionable calls. Half the Cards penalties were holding on Harrison. Still players dont make calls the refs do, so blame them. Even with penalties they still had a chance. I am glad the Cardinals thought Cromartie could cover Holmes 1 on 1 all night, which he obviously couldnt, just gave Pitt more opportunities. 3 defenders on him in the back of the endzone and he still makes the TD, which is ridiculous. Or if they just knocked Harrison out of bounds on the INT return they would have gone in at the half only down by 3, but half the team missed him when they had the chance.

I've seen Kurt Warner scream and throw fits on the sideline more than anyone else this year. And yes, that includes guys like T.O.

I will say that James Harrison should have been ejected for holding that guy down and punching him. That was fucking ridiculous. I don't recall seeing much else in terms of poor sportsmanship.

I don't think of that as poor sportsmanship, just like I don't like NBA refs calling technicals when guys get mad at calls or yell at themselves for missing plays.

Holmes caught a pass on the sideline and was going to fight everyone on the Cardinals offense. There were a few other instances that I can't recall, but that Harrison incident was probably the least professional thing I've seen in football.

How is it not poor sportsmanship? People lose their shit when T.O. does it and call him unprofessional and a diva, but Warner gets a free pass? That's such bullshit.

How is it not poor sportsmanship? People lose their shit when T.O. does it and call him unprofessional and a diva, but Warner gets a free pass? That's such bullshit.

And Harrison's incident wasn't even close to being as bad as when Albert Haynesworth stomped on Andre Gurode's head a couple of years ago.

Oh fuck I just watched that on Youtube.

What a dick.

Madden should not ever say anyone needs to be thrown out after he coached the dirtiest team with the most cheap shot artists in the history of sports.
