I don't move into my school until next Tuesday, however one of my roommates, Joey, and a few of my friends moved in early for being part of the student government, tutoring training, etc. So last night I went up to my school to visit Joey in our room and check out our living quarters for the next year. When I got there, the first thing Joey says is "Go look in your room. Tom [one of our good friends who was also already there] left you a present on your bed." So I walk in and find this poster laying on my bed:

And I was like "Holy shit! This is awesome!" So Joey explained to me what happened. Some of you I'm sure read my review of the PNC gig (June 14th) and know that when Maiden started playing, there was a huge thunderstorm through the whole thing with heavy rainfall, and since PNC is an ampitheater, the merch tents are all outdoors. So on August 3rd, The Police played at PNC and my friend Tom went. And for some reason, they were just getting rid of / giving away water damaged merch from the Maiden show. So my friend Tom grabbed a big box of these posters, many of which are apparently still in good condition.

Such a weird coincidence, but I'm happy :D

Good for you. I'd never pay for a poster, rather just print one up.
