And If you havent seen In Flames, you should. Despite their new stuff, they are a blast live.

I'm going to a bunch of upcoming concerts for bands I don't really know to:

1) Know them better
2) See them just to say I could.

Like Metallica, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, etc.

I stuck around for them when i went to see their support, The Sword and Lacuna Coil i think last year. I'm glad i did; that Worcester date really works for me... anyway, I'm also liking 36 Crazyfists, and after mayhem, they are supporting Trivium.

on that note, when i last saw Trivium, i was borderline creepy old guy.

edit: and i want to check out Gojira...

I wouldn't say they are a blast. How about blinding?

I refuse to see this band until they turn off those fucking blinders.

Ill go to this if it comes close for ATR, but I need to see the In Flames set before I stay an extra 90 min to see 4 or 5 songs I actually care about.

I think In Flames may win the "worst setlist of all time" award when this tour gets started

That's what I did when I started getting into metal. I looked on the venue websites for Worcester & Providence and when I saw a name I had heard tossed around with positive comments, I went.

As such, I got into Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Opeth, Dark Tranquillity, and Devin Townsend Band.

Might be going to the Worcester date.

Cant be much worse than the gigantour set. I didnt go to that bec COB was too short, In flames was shitty, and I had seen the Megadeth set about 8 or 9 times the past couple years

There was a setlist on here from when they played I think Hellfest this year, it was wretched. Guess i just got spoiled seeing them on their first US tour (1999)
