Ahh I want the dates with Down, but I guess Lamb of God are at least better live than Machine Head. Can't wait for Metallica :metal:

Interesting..I like The Sword, and Down are okay (though I hate Phil)....gonna need some real motivation to see them in Columbus.

first date! lol october 21st! cant wait. will be the first time ive seen metallica. wish i was seeing machine head instead of down but oh well.

Well, TECHNICALLY, the first dates of the new tour are September 14 and September 16 in Berlin and London ;)

I figured since everyone on here seems to have infinite amounts of information about most of these bands that someone would have a theory on why most of the big tours are totally skipping over Florida and most of the southern states when there are a shit ton of loyal fans here (i.e. Iron Maiden, The Metal Masters tour, and Metallica)

I figured since everyone on here seems to have infinite amounts of information about most of these bands that someone would have a theory on why most of the big tours are totally skipping over Florida and most of the southern states when there are a shit ton of loyal fans here (i.e. Iron Maiden, The Metal Masters tour, and Metallica)

Gas prices. Florida always get skipped (not just by major tours, but most every tour) because routing-wise its easier to round off at Georgia and head up if you're coming from the west, or start heading towards Texas if you're coming from the Atlantic.
