According to the ticket, the concert started at 5:30. Due to work and traffic I couldn't get there until 6:45. So I missed all of Testament and part of Motorhead. However, I found Testament's setlist on another site:

Over The Wall
More Than Meets The Eye
Henchman Ride
D.N.R.
Three Days In Darkness
Disciples Of The Watch

Motorhead finished at approximately 7:15. Here's the full setlist, even though I missed seeing the first 3 songs:

Dr. Rock
Stay Clean
Be My Baby
The Killers
Metropolis
Over The Top
In The Name Of Tragedy
Just 'Cos You Got The Power
Going To Brazil
Killed By Death
Ace Of Spades
Overkill

Heaven & Hell played from 7:45 to 9:00. I was sitting next to the soundboard and I saw Neon Knights was supposed to be the encore, but I guess it was dropped due to time constraints.

E5150
The Mob Rules
Children Of The Sea
I
The Sign of the Southern Cross
Ear In The Wall
Drum Solo
Time Machine
Falling Off The Edge Of The World
Die Young
Heaven And Hell

Judas Priest played from 9:30 to 11:00. Their setlist was the same as previously reported on this site:

Dawn Of Creation
Prophecy
Metal Gods
Eat Me Alive
Between The Hammer And The Anvil
Devil's Child
Breaking The Law
Hell Patrol
Dissident Aggressor
Angel
The Hellion / Electric Eye
Rock Hard, Ride Free
Painkiller
------Encore------
Hell Bent For Leather
The Green Manalishi
You've Got Another Thing Coming

In conclusion, I thought all the bands (that I heard) sounded absolutely excellent. I wouldn't consider myself a die-hard fan of any of these bands, but I thought this was a great tour. I definitely recommend going!

Sorry, I spent all my money on beer so I didn't check the merch stand. However, I saw the following quote on Blabbermouth.net:

"The Shirts were a fucking rip-off though. $40 each and they were all for the individual bands, no 'Metal Masters' shirt, except for the black guys outside."

Shit, I figured if I waited this long, someone else would have a review up.

Anyway:

My friend and I got there around 6, just in time to see the last Testament song, but being that I thought it sounded like crap, I really wasn't upset. I'm not a Motorhead fan, but honestly they weren't bad.
Heaven and Hell were most excellent but just didn't play long enough. Seriously, what the fuck are you doing a drum solo for when you're only playing 9 songs? Especially when Vinnie Appice isn't exactly the world's greatest drummer, to say the least. Also, they could do with shortening up the rediculously long version of Heaven and Hell. Regardless, they just didn't play long enough. I can't complain too much though, as "Time Machine", and "Ear in the Wall" were great surprises and I didn't think they'd keep "Falling Off the Edge of the World" in a shortened set like that.
Judas Priest had, seriously, one of the best live mixes and sounds I've ever heard. It was crystal clear, I was seriously impressed. The highlight of the show for me was "Hell Patrol".
The show wasn't incredible, it's hard for me to really be into something from the lawn, but it was well worth the money I spent to buy Nostradamus to get a free ticket.

Just speculation, but I think the drum solo is included to give Dio a break. All of his recent solo tours (that I know of) have had one also.

Or maybe he just likes drum solos. :D

From an interview (http://www.metal-rules.com/zine/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1392) with Vinny Appice on Metal-Rules.com

That being the case, has the band given any thought to the set list for this tour, like are you going to be playing stuff that you didn't on the previous tour?

Oh yeah, we're playing different songs, but we're not playing SABBATH songs. We're going to play some different songs from HEAVEN AND HELL.

Really, you're going to shuffle around the set list for this upcoming tour?

Oh yeah, we've got to. We played a whole year of those songs; we can't go out and play the same set.

--

I guess it being shorter, and playing Ear in the Wall and Time Machine does make it a different set...but...I expected a lot more changes than two songs when he said they couldn't go out and play the same set...

Even if they played the same songs, they could have given it a fresh treatment by re-arranging the order. It felt like the same show despite the 2 different songs.

Not that I'm complaining at all. The only thing worth complaining about is that they didn't play long enough. ;)

WHY OH WHY IS SINNER GONE. :boohoo:

why indeed. perhaps it falls under "perche domande perche" (eye-talian for "why ask why") (other than missing accents on certain vowels, it might not even be correct eye-talian)? still, it should be quite a kick ass set.

This will be my third time seeing H&H. still no Turn Up The Night and TV Crimes but they may make the rotation next time around.

never saw Motorhead before, so i like that this is my first taste of them in a live setting.

Testament, while not an imperative for me, should be good; i am looking forward to their set nonetheless.

edit: 2 more days to go til i am metallized by the masters @ Jones Beach.

Over The Wall
More Than Meets The Eye
Henchman Ride
D.N.R.
Three Days In Darkness
Disciples Of The Watch

I love Testament's The Gallery album, but with such a short set they should concentrate on the early albums and the new one. And this is such a classic metal lineup. "Three Days in Darkness" and "D.N.R." just don't fit.

Motorhead set was the same except they didnt do Just 'Cos You Got The Power, there was a drum solo though.

Testament was this:
Over The Wall
The New Order
Practice What You Preach
Souls of Black
More Than Meets The Eye
The Formation of Damnation

Glad they are changing the set bec I am going 2 more times and them and Motorhead are the main reasons why.

Heaven and Hell didnt play Ear in the Wall but played Neon Knights

Judas Priest didnt play Sinner or Death, the rest of the set was the same.

Shirts were $30 last night too, not the $40 at Camden.

Did they have any cool Judas Priest shirts I might be interested in buying when I see the show at PNC tmo?

The had British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance shirts with no dates, a Nostradamus with the dates on the back and then one with 4 horsemen and Nostradamus artwork on the back. Think that was it.

Testament was this:
Over The Wall
The New Order
Practice What You Preach
Souls of Black
More Than Meets The Eye
The Formation of Damnation

That's a hell of a lot better setlist. It's like they read my mind and dropped The Gallery tracks :blaze:

When did testament release an album called "The Gallery"?? There is a song called the Legacy, and an album called The Ritual, but no Gallery to my knowledge...

The Gathering?

I'm glad they're at least playing Souls Of Black. Looks like I won't be buying a shirt unless one of the bands gives me a bowel movement.

He means The Gathering.

I think I prefer the first set list posted. DNR and Three Days In Darkness were awesome when I saw Testament earlier this year. But either set list would be fine with me.

The Gallery is by Dark Tranquillity, and is better than any Testament album I have ever heard.

That Camden set for Testament suprised me, the show I saw was exactly what I thought it was going to be except I thought they would do Disciples of the watch instead of The Formation of Damnation. Hope tomorrow and next weekend in Pittsburgh it is a different set.

Wow, i feel like a douche. I keep saying Gallery. Yes, I did mean Gathering. And yes, I've been listening to a lot of Dark Tranquillity (one of my all-time faves) lately, and that is the reason for my epic failure. SORRY!

Testament should be playing Electric Crown. Personally I'd settle for any of many songs off the Ritual, but I have a feeling that would be by far the most likely.

Great set, but in my opinion the last band will be:

HEAVEN & HELL, Judas Priest will be the opener...

But in general Judas Priest it's a great band i'll see them,

they'll come to mexico :rocker:
