'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' - Aerosmith :eyes:

What? There is not one iota of guitar in this song! and do we need another Aerosmith track? These guys got their own game.

Still, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Comfortably Numb, and TORNADO OF FUCKING SOULS more than makes up for it.

Marking thread as RUMOR.... there's too many GH4 lists floating about to be sure.

I'm calling bullshit on this list. :2cents:

What. :flame:

Along with Radiohead, Tool is a favorite of many pseudo-intellectual teenagers and faggots. They're a band which thinks that writing lyrics about lachrymology makes them artistic. The band, led by midget Maynard James Keenan, is known for their deep and insightful songs about enemas, fisting, Maynard's penis, and being raped in the ass by one's stepfather as a child, as well as their "highly technical" instrumentation. On closer examination, Tool's lyrics reveal that the band are really just a bunch of retards who read too much and should shut the fuck up. For better or worse, Tool's pretentious literary aspirations have not affected any Tool fans, whose literacy rate remains at a steady zero.

I haven't listened to Tool in years, but I'd rather play Stinkfist on GH4 than "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing."

The first half is lame, except for the Dio and skynyrd, then it picks up with some good bands playing 'their usual' songs.

You sum them up, and so many other bands, beautifully. Too many bands are now reaching out to the "pseudo-intellectual teenagers and faggots". And yet oodles of praise come to these ill-concieved... I don't know what to call them. These bands continually promote themselves with an image that makes it seem intelligent to enjoy something disturbing and off-colored. This should be kvlt stuff for weirdos, not mainstream trash.

It's fake anyway, and Tool rules regardless how stupid most of their fans are.

edit: no your right bands should limit what they rite about cuz it makes them liked by posers and become posers and also it makes it bad for this reason yes

i guarantee the nofx song is not in this they would never license their music to something mainstream. so i call bullshit, as much as i want to play hallowed be thy name.

If this is true...then Activision just recieved my money. I mean they got Hallowed, Master of Puppets, Angel of Death, TORNADO OF SOULS (that solo is going to kill). those 4 songs alone kick total ass. odd choice for a Priest song imo...not one their most well known songs. I think its kinda weird to have 3 Tool songs but i like Tool so i cant complain too much.Spirit of Radio will be fun as hell. suprised they got a Dio-era Sabbath song on there.

I don't know what your judgements are based on when you think that Tool fans are wannabe pseudo-intelligent kids. I'm not a fan, but from what I've seen, the general population of Tool fans don't try to act intelligent. Some of them are and some of them aren't, but none of them fall into that category.

No, I just don't like Tool. I just took that Tool-rant from ED because it just came to mind. :D

I saw that website about it being a fake, cos the list does seem like it's too good to be true.

Heres the list in more detail regarding the names of tours and all of the guitar battles!!!

http://www.consolemonster.com/newspost.php?id=0000003792

(ONG Zakk wylde battle!)

anyway there'll probably be an official post/confirmation soon from guitar hero, and less just hope they have van halen/metallica/maiden/megadeth etc and make it kick ass!

Am I the only one who has played this game on mute? I can see doing that for a lot of this list. Bon Jovi? ugggg... And what's with Tokio Hotel... isn't emo dead? Why would a record label get behind a band so strongly when their 5 years to late?
