I went to see the Progressive Nation shows in New York on May 21st and 22nd. I overheard someone in the crowd talking about an off-date headlining show for Between The Buried And Me in Philadelphia on May 25th. As soon as I got back home I looked up the information for the show and bought tickets.
The show was in the basement of the First Unitarian Church which is an interesting place to see a show. It was hot as hell in there though.
I couldn't put a name to the first song(s) they did. It was probably Selkies and/or another track from Alaska. The rest of the setlist was:
Foam Born (A) The Backtrack
(B) The Decade of Statues
Sun of Nothing
Prequel to the Sequel
Mordecai
------Encore------
Viridian
White Walls
After the show the crowd rushed the stage and most of the band stayed to hang out. I shook Blake's hand before we left.
