Brave Words is running a morsel that is too tasty to pass up: According to BW&BK sources, the new METALLICA album is scheduled for release in mid-September. The album will be preceded by an eight-minute single which is being described as "a tour de force that features some of their fastest playing ever."

A bad song that's fast will always be better than a bad song that's slow though :D I have faith this album will be on par or slightly below the level of the black album.

For me it isn't how fast the song is, it's how well the song is written so I'm not gonna get my hopes up yet.
