Texas thrash/speed metal pioneers RIGOR MORTIS have been confirmed to perform at Ozzfest 2008 in Dallas, Texas on August 9. METALLICA will be headlining this event.


RIGOR MORTIS will perform with its original lineup consisting of Bruce Corbitt (TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE), Mike Scaccia (MINISTRY, REVOLTING COCKS, BLOHOLE), Casey Orr (GWAR, MITRA, X-COPS, THE HELLIONs, BLOHOLE), and Harden Harrison (MITRA, PERVIS, SPEEDEALER).

Heh, yeah. Maiden took most of my concert money for the summer, after Summer Slaughter, At the Gates, and Paganfest.

Well if they actually expect people to flock to it like a European festival, they better get one hell of a bill like a European festival.

The first Metallica dates this summer will tell us if Rick Rubin truly is god, or if Metallica is already too far down the drain. If you're about to quote this and reply "too late", keep it to yourself and break out your copy of Ride the Lightning.
