Sweet jesus, I'd LOVE to see Anthrax open for Maiden instead of whoever I'm sure they'll get to do the June 17th show in Camden, NJ.

Maybe they'll need another 'sick of the studio' show. After so many years in the studio, I imagine they might get tired of it again.

Why arent they playing the song Caught Somehwere in Time on the somewhere back in time tour. It woul dmake more sense to play that then the song Iron Maiden.

You nailed it, Fe. I'm really apprehensive about Anthrax' slot too. Of course, it could be a lot worse.

Says Bruce at the show, he announced it before they played Moonchild. Said they were coming back in June, and it would be a different, longer show so we wouldnt have to worry about seeing the same thing twice.

Exactly. Bruce never said that the duration of the show would be any longer, he basically just said "set will be bigger"... which I think everyone just figured meant the duration rather than the physical stage set itself. I'm hoping for both, but I think people are getting their hopes up for nothing.

well iforgot who said this, i think the official site did, but they are gonna bring back the giant eddie mummy behind the stage, like in live after death, powerslave tour

Well here's exactly what he said, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWPoqa3Lveo

"bigger show" probably means more than just props, I can't imagine doing the first and second leg of the tour with the same setlists. at the very least theyll change it up a bit.

They may change TETMD for Clairvoyant but I foresee no changes in the set list beyond that.

You're very much right I'm afraid. As much as I'd love to keep the faith that things will be different this time around, but this is Maiden, they hardly ever change set lists mid tour, even with different legs, and frankly both they and the fans know that the first "leg" wasn't really a leg, so most of the people at the places they'll be playing didn't even see the first leg.

Personally if they do make changes:
I'd like to see Heaven Can Wait taken out for any other song from SIT, but I don't see it happening.
On a more realistic level I'd like them to take out Can I Play With Madness and put in The Evil That Men Do.
Regardless of alterations, if I see either Infinite Dreams or Stranger in a Strange Land in the set list I'm a very happy man.
But either way, you're most likely right, and I don't anticipate a change.

That would be massively awesome. Stranger in a Strange Land was the second song I heard by them, and still one of my top five by them overall.

I'd like to hear them play the Lonliness of the Long Distance Runner or Alexander the Great instead of Moonchild or the Clairvoyant and definitely add Caught Somewhere in Time and TETMD.
