We're not exactly breaking news here. Scott Weiland is out of Velvet Revolver. Stone Temple Pilots is back together. What do you all think the future holds for Velvet Revolver?

Indeed. This was always going to happen after Scott's on-stage announcement in Glasgow. Then when Slash said "put it this way, this is not Velvet Revolver's last tour" in a BBC interview, that was basically a done deal that he'd be out. STP is a separate issue.

They're obviously going to carry on, get a new singer, and make another album.

My money is on James Michael.

maybe they can get Ripper Owens when he's kicked out of Yngwie's band.

I'd like to say my money is on Sebastian Bach, since he tried out for them originally, but I don't see it happening...That'd be great, though, in my opinion.

They're kinda like a beached whale...all washed up [on shore.]

I'm gonna put my money on Sebastian Bach joining them. THAT would be pretty amazing.

Weiland recommended Bach as a replacement. Don't see that happening though, seeing as he's good friends with Axl.

Mabey they should just do a Guns n' Roses reunion tour instead of trying to find a new singer for VR

Though it won't be right away, a full GnR reunion looks probable in the next couple of years.
But I'm guessing one more album that ends up sucking, with some nobody singer who will milk the fact that he played with VR for the rest of his life.
