...so says ozzfest.com. No much more to say right now.

For those who haven't been paying attention, the big rumors are that Ozzfest is becoming a one-date-and-not-a-tour destination festival like Wacken.

I'm hoping for a tour and for it to be something halfway decent.

I know it would never happen, but isn't Cannibal Corpse releasing an album this year? They could totally headline the second stage. ;)

It should just invite all the Wacken bands. And be held in Texas.

There's also a rumour that there'll be a UK edition at the O2 Arena in London with Alice In Chains, Serj Tankian, Korn, Killswitch Engage, Black Label Society, Dimmu Borgir and Lacuna Coil.

At least a small element of that isn't true because Black Label Society's only UK date this year is headlining the Hard Rock Hell festival.

Let's just say that if the headliners are Ozzy and Korn, I won't be so happy.

Sense last year was free, and that lineup is so bad, it looks like the plan this year is to pay us to go.

Don't think Korn will be on it.

If Korn was headling, I'd hardpressed to go at all... and especially if this thing is going to require travel to Texas.

If they're going to make this a one-show festival, they'd better get an absolutely killer lineup, or else they're going to take a bath on this. And since nearly all of the big names are otherwise engaged this summer, I don't see that happening.

Seriously should just move Wacken to Dallas.

It would never be free in this country. Always would expect to pay. If that was the line-up, I'd go for Ozzy, Lacuna and AIC.

I think people are rumouring Ozzy and Korn because they did those South American shows together with BLS.

Not in August they aren't. Wacken is pretty much the only major metal fest in Europe in August. Most others are June and July.

I've heard bad things about EITS live.

I've only heard the opposite. Never had a chance to see them myself, though.

From a first time listener/watch, I can say that there is nothing bad about EITS live. :)

Haha, what's wrong with the Lone Star State?

Two of my friends I met in college this year, who are from Texas, say it is terrible.

I won't judge, though! :D

(though I am pissed you guys get 4 paganfest dates and I get 0)

Kansas isn't so far from Texas, and I'm sure there's room for you at one of those shows... :eyes:
