Unstoppable Force Tour
Knitting Factory -- Tap Bar
I could call this the shortened show at the NOT-ing factory because both Monstrosity and Vital Remains had their sets cut, in my opinion, drastically short (both played only six songs!) by an inexplicably early 12:30 a.m. closing time. Or I could call this the TAPPED-OUT show at the Tap Bar. Nevertheless, despite the disappointment of seeing so little from two incredible bands, both Monstrosity and a Dave Suzuki-less Vital Remains played to the delight of the crowd! A particular highlight was seeing Monstrosity's vocalist's brother J.J. Hrubovcak as guest rhythm guitarist, and rumor has it that he'll be playing occasional gigs for Monstrosity along this tour...
