Symphony X they were excellent.

Your set list is right Andy. There wasn't a song between Paradise Lost & Through The Looking Glass Pts 1-3, although it feels like Looking Glass is more than one song.

Epica 's set list was:

Indigo (Intro)
The Obsessive Devotion
Sensorium
Menace Of Vanity
Chasing The Dragon
Sancta Terra
Cry For The Moon
Fools Of Damnation
Consign To Oblivion

Thought Epica were a bit boring.

Could have sworn there was a proper gap in there. Fair enough.

SX were indeed fantastic. So much better than Sweden Rock last year. Particularly Russell. But... once you've seen one Michael Romeo solo, you really have seen them all haven't you?

Agreed, Epica were a bit dull, but all things considered I thought they did a good job. Simone was noticeably waning towards the end. Good groove in places, but their material just isn't up to much is it?

I thought Simone did quite well, at times I thought she was lip sync-ing!! But a couple of mistakes convinced me otherwise...

SX were truly amazing.

HELL YEAH. This set list is excellent, particularly the inclusion of Through the Looking Glass has me rediculously excited to see them now.

Seems accurate. Especially since as far as I know they like to have this part in TTLG (about 4 minutes into the song) where they completely stop for like 30 seconds and get the crowd going.... so I can easily see how someone could mistake it for two seperate songs rather than one.

Don't forget! We get Into Eternity as well... for the FIFTH time for me. I'm so thrilled. You can almost taste my sarcasm

wow...i saw them in 2007 in Phoenix. setlist wasnt half as good as this. i mean theyre playing Masquerade, Through the Looking Glass, Revelation (my personal fav off new cd), Eve of Seduction and Out of the Ashes. Much better than previous tour. Lets hope they dont change the setlist for America cause this is almost perfect.

I expect a ton of bitching from n00b fans about how they're not playing The Odyssey. Christ, both times I saw them it was like the only song anyone cared about. It is amazing, but SX have so much amazing work elsewhere that I'll take a tour without The Odyssey if I can have Out of the Ashes, Through the Looking Glass, and Masqeurade back in it's place.
