Opeth- Black Rose Immortal
Pink Floyd- Dogs
Built to Spill- Cortez the Killer (Live)

Those are the only 3 good songs on iTunes that are over 15 minutes, but there's a whole bunch that I love in the 10-15 minute range.

Pink Floyd- Dogs

For some reason I thought you didn't like Pink Floyd. Shows what I know.

I'd have to say Rush's 2112 would be my fav.

Well the only one I have besides those is "The Wall."

I would say right now it would be live version of ' The Pharaoh ' by Edguy, clocking in at 15:09, with ' The Odyssey ' by Symphony X in a close second. That's of course discluding the countless classical pieces that go over 15 minutes, but it would take me forever to pick one of those because not all of them are on my iTunes.

Although I could name thirty of almost equal quality, my favorite song over 15 minutes long is also my favorite song: "Supper's Ready" by Genesis. I get tears in my eyes just thinkin' about it.

Cathedral - The Garden
Iced Earth - Gettysburg (it's not really three songs is it? They did that so people with short attention spans wouldn't get bored)

And a couple already mentioned.

How long are The Warning and Dante's Inferno?

Some of this stuff only counts if we use live versions tracked as a single song, as opposed to the divided of the studio version... though I'm the kind of person that believes it can still count as one song if tracked seperately if the concepts continue appropriately.
Symphony X - Divine Wings of Tragedy and The Odyssey
Fates Warning - Ivory Gate of Dreams
Iced Earth - Gettysburg
Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons
Dream Theater - Six Degress of Inner Turbulence

Absolutely Six Degrees and Gettysburg. They're only tracked separately for people with short attention spans ;)

Symphony X tomorrow, bitches. Third time in 9 months.

I went through all my music and I dont have a lot over 15 minutes. I think the only song on there that I could stand listening to was Pink Floyd - Echoes. And thats only if your doing that stupid thing where you play it and watch that scene from Contact at the same time

That song is weak...

...That band is weak

...But, actually, I rather like "The Dead Flag Blues."

Oh, how wrong you are.

I forgot about that song, it didn't show up as a 15 min+ track since it's divided into a bunch of tracks. The textbook for the music class I'm taking right now (written within the last few years) actually mentions that song in the section on contemporary popular music.

In terms of post-rock, GY!BE is one of the bands that tend to annoy the shit out of me...

...Seriously they broke up because of iraq.
