"I didn't want to really just make a live DVD, because I felt like, 'Ah, who cares?' What I really did was [make] a tour documentary similar to the documentary I made for the DVD for 'Devil's Rejects,' where it starts with the first rehearsal through the building of the stage, through traveling and flying and playing every show and after the show and this and that."

Everyone fucking cares Rob, because you don't have a live DVD. That attitude would be fine if you were, say, Iron Maiden, and already had 248 live DVDs on the market, but you've got shit.

When will artists learn that people buy live DVDs because they want to watch a live concert and not all the other shit? Put it in bonus features where it belongs so we can watch what we bought the fucking disc for.

Hopefully you will just be able to watch the concert, in its entirety and see all of the bonus stuff seperate. That's what totally fucked up the live Sabbath DVD. Cut out half of Snowblind and Into the Void to hear about how Tony lost his fingers? No thank you.
Even so, I don't know if I want to watch Rob Zombie and John 5 sit on their asses on a tour bus.

Countless people have done it, and no matter how many fans say "what the hell? You've fucked that up! We just want to watch the concert", they keep doing it.

The Black Crowes - Freak 'n' Roll Into The Fog
Black Sabbath - The Last Supper
Ozzy - Live & Loud
Deep Purple - Come Hell Or High Water
Sebastian Bach - Forever Wild
Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion World Tour
Type O Negative - Symphony For The Devil

The list is unfortunately very long. And people are still doing it. Morons.

At least Heaven And Hell, Queensryche, Solitude Aeturnus and Onslaught have all got it right recently!

Megadeth's is alright, but why were two songs interrupted with short clips of Dave playing acoustic outside the hotel?

Why not, seeing as it was filmed, put the whole acoustic set in the bonus features and leave the concert alone? This is the point I'm making. Too many people do it, to greater or lesser degrees.

Oh, and the Doom Troopin' DVD is horrible. Zakk's voice is absolutely appalling. He changed his singing style after 1919 Eternal, for the worse, and it sounds terrible live. The Boozed, Broozed and Broken Boned DVD is much better.

I watched that Sabbath DVD once and got so annoyed I've never watched it since. Whoever thought that one up has less working mental capacity then Ozzy has working physical capacity.

And everyone who's ever watched that DVD or any other that pulls the same trick says the same thing. Why the fuck are bands still doing it?
