 For being one of the board's prog guys you sure hate the first widespread effort to bring live prog to the mainstream ;)

I wouldn't be so against it if it weren't Opeth + 2 of my least favorite prog bands + 1 band that I don't know much about (on purpose 'cause what I heard was uninteresting).

I would eagerly await the... *good* response tour to this. ;)

It'd be cool if there was a non-metal prog tour in response. Peter Gabriel/King Crimson/Porcupine Tree or something.

I do believe the correct answer is Angelina Jolie, Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba going from town to town having scissor-sex in the public square. :D

Nice  Good chance to see BTBAM without other lame bands on the bill.

Yeah, I would love to see Opeth but I'm not sure if I'd want to sit through the rest of it... Dream Theater is impressive, but not so much my thing.

A fantastic tour package in North America and not elsewhere? Shocking.

Three are excellent and it looks increasingly likely that they're never going to be allowed to tour outside the States.

We've had Opeth three times in the last two years though, so I don't miss not being able to see them again.

Shitty tour.

No, it's an excellent tour featuring bands you don't like. That's different from a shitty tour.
