Iced Earth to do U.S tour in 2008

Read over at Blabbermouth that in '08 Iced Earth will tour U.S in April/May then Canada and other countries to follow.

Not surprising. The fact that they've played so much in Europe this year was far more of a shock. Playing their home country is that big a stretch ;)

I'm only going if both of the following conditions are met:

A. they do NOT play alot of songs off the new album

B. there is someone else who wants me to go with them


otherwise I don't see a reason to go out of my way for this.

Don't get your hopes up, Schaffer apparently loves this album like a child, so I would expect them to play a lot of songs off of it.

So far off the album they've been doing Ten Thousand Strong, A Charge To Keep, Setian Massacre, Invasion, Something Wicked Pt. 1, and Motiviation oF Man. But hell they are playing a lot of other really great songs like Waterloo, Dracula, Stormrider so it's worth it IMO.

Chances are I will too as long as they come fairly close to me (I'm sure they will) and the date doesn't conflict with any of the other 2008 tours that I plan on seeing.

they hit Dallas on the Glorious Burden Tour so I figure they'll be coming here on this tour as well.
