Yesterday, August 24th, we lost a great Patriot. Film maker and political activist Aaron Russo passed away after a long battle against cancer. Russo produced Trading Places, starring Eddie Murphy, and has won an Emmy, a Tony Award, and numerous Golden Globe awards. Russo also claimed to be the first person to book Led Zeppelin in the US.

Most recently, Russo released America: Freedom to Fascism, a scathing documentary exposing the illegal activities and history of the IRS, the Federal Reserve, and other agencies of the government.

It just so happens, I wore my new "Destroy the Federal Reserve" shirt on August 24th, by pure coincidence.

Rest In Peace.

Damn. He was fighting the cancer for a really long time. We need more people like him in this day and age, he risked his whole career to stand up for what he believed in.
