Surprised to see Moonchild so high. And no Wrathchild? That song is legendary.

2 Minutes to Midnight is my favorite Maiden song, but I'm not gonna bitch that it's in second, that's still perfectly respectable :D I think this actually turned out really cool, this list is so much better than the typical 1. Hallowed Be Thy Name, 2.-134. whatever.

Well the original reason for me doing this is I was thinking about how whenver someone does a "What's the best Iron maiden song ever?" thread, it always, always, always is Hallowed Be Thy Name. I guess it started with me thinking what the 2nd best one would be, and that got me thinking since Iron Maiden songs can separated into the epics and non-epics (and since Hallowed falls under epic), I was wondering what people would think the best of the latter group would be.

Surprised Invaders made the cut. And that Wicker Man didn't.

Happy to see Stranger In A Strange Land high up.

Good list.

This should be done again for another band everyone knows inside out. Like Sabbath.

Here, Rush would probably work even better. If Josh lets me in on how he figured this all out (because I've forgotten) I'll do it for Rush.

Not true. I wonder how many people on this board are very familiar with albums like Seventh Star, Headless Cross, and others of the non-Ozzy or Dio eras. Real shame I think. I think Tony Martin and Glenn Hughes are both phenomenal singers, and that every other era is better than the Ozzy stuff. I know I'm a "blasphemer" for this but I don't give a damn. There's absolutely nothing appealingg about any of the Ozzy stuff to me.
