Doesn't he have HIV?

That's the first time I've ever heard that. :eyes:

I read it in like "Sound of the Beast" or one of those history of metal books. Could be wrong, maybe it was just some other STD.

Taken from Wikipedia

"The band canceled its previously announced European dates in July 2006, after Lawless was diagnosed with an abnormality in one of the arteries leading to his heart"

There is no any mention that he is HIV positive.

Hmm. I don't think that was it, I think he had an STD of some sort back in the late 80s/early 90s. Maybe it was a mild one like gonorrhea :eyes:

Come on guys, doing a set list that's 90% the same for years on end is not cool. Especially when you have so many great songs you're completely ignoring. And furthermore, Dominator sounds like it's going to be a great album, but of course we're only getting two songs off of it, and both of those will be gone in about 2 years anyway.

Blackie Lawless has a great amount of great music recorded with his band and he still dares to ignore 80% of it. He could make one hell of a setlist with only couple of changes and selections, but still he just sticks with Hate To Love Me, The Real Me and Blind In Texas. I wonder when the fans and the band itself gets bored or just depressed.

And what is this thing about playing for an hour and expecting people to pay 30-40€ of it?

Wishlist for Blackie Lawless:
* Start acting like you care us fans
* Play longer sets to fans really get something from the shows
* Add more less-played songs into set to keep W.A.S.P. shows intresting. Some of the classics really deserve to rest ...
* Trust your new material and play songs from Dominator and Neon Gods. Fuck the covers.
