How is it? I liked their last release, the s/t...and I was debating whether to buy this one.

It was pretty cool, it kinda reminded me of Draconian Times. It's got that melodic, doomy rock style that Paradise Lost are good at. Some of the stuff (see: "Your Own Reality") is like what Lacuna Coil would sound like if they didn't suck (and they had only male vocals).

I never heard the S/T, though I read it sucked, so I don't know if that would affect your liking In Requiem.

I stumbled across this band supporting Celtic Front last October (after Goatwhore opened) at Disneyland (HoB). Very weird set and band. Ten minutes into their first 'song', Motorhead Jeff and I thought they were still sound-checking. We had never heard of them or drone-sludge-whatsoever, so it was a novelty. It's not every day you hear some really different and new (at least to my ears).

I did not exactly appreciate Decay2 when they started chanting.... definitely one of the most eerie metal moments I've ever experienced. I don't know that I would want to see them live again, but there 'music' -- at this album -- for those nights when even the slowest doom metal is too fast.
