August 18th, McCovey Cove Parking Lot

Rage Against the Machine, Wu-tang Clan, Cypress Hill, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Public Enemy, NAS, EPMD, Pharohe Monch, MF Doom, Murs, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Hieroglyphics, Sage Francis, Blackalicious,

At $76 I think its too pricey for Rage + hip hop bands, especially if I'm going alone

I'd go with you Justin, except not for the $76

It's bargain-basement pricing. That's the most incredible line-up of hip hop talent for one show that I've ever seen.

actually I would like to see cypress hill and public enemy (its just Chuck D though, isn't it?)

I predict a full-blown reunion and I'll catch that show

I've never paid that much for a show and I don't think I ever will, ozzfest was about as high as I'd go. but that would have been cool

Well, obviously. :)

Nope. PE's new album came out yesterday, and it's almost the whole crew: only Terminator X isn't with them (having been replaced by DJ Lord). They even have Professor Griff back in the mix now. Video for their new track is up on their site and their myspace page, and the song is hot.

Griff never really did anything though. Well on the classics anyway.
