DT's new album is called Systematic Chaos. June release date.

In The Presence of Enemies Pt.1
Forsaken
Constant Motion
The Dark Eternal Night
Repentance
Prophets of War
The Ministry of Lost Souls
In The Presence of Enemies Pt.2

BM says one of these songs is 25 mintues long. That's a lot of wanking, even for Dream Theater. :cowsleep:

ADD, we need a review. :D

I wish DT would do an album with like 4 songs to really let the wank come out.

Ok, basically you've got your standard nu-prog metal album with super high-def production that's cleaner than granma's silverware cabinet, along with some emotionless castratto vocals and halfway decent riffs and ideas, marred by more wanking than a 14 year old who just discovered porn. Throw in some useless "weird" time signatures and a few futile attempts to sound heavy amidst all the King Crimson and Pink Floyd worship and you've got a Dream Theater album

Glad they already got the idiotic album/songtitle part out of the way, definitely off on a familiar foot

It's too bad, because they could really be a great band. They just need to fire LaBrie and focus their approach x100. They're not bad at all, they're just.......:eyes:

I like DT too but I don't think ADD is far off the mark, except on firing LaBrie.

I like DT also. LaBrie is not as bad as many make him out to be:allan:

Train of Thought owned your face, but Octavarium was good too.. just in a different not so heavy way.

At first Octavarium got no play from me but its use has grown with time.

Images and Words owns everyone. If they make another album like that, we'll be in for a treat.

Meh. That album begins and ends for me at "Pull Me Under" - one of the DT songs I can admit to enjoying.

Did I mention I actually bought Images and Words before I ever owned a 'Ryche album?

Octavarium reminds me too much of Falling into Infinity which is their worst album and I completely hate it when they play songs from this album at their shows.

That album begins with "Pull Me Under" and ends with the equally stellar "Learning to Live", bitch. ;)

Wow, that's just...wrong. :eyes:

I bought my own Train of Thought when I bought my own Operation Mindcrime.
