First of all, I dunno what took me so long since I love the movie. Shame on me.
Second of all, if you're making a Porcupine Tree reference, I read Ellis' American Psycho before I ever heard of PT, let alone FOABP. So there. :hmm:

Oh my god..Where?
In a shop in southern Finland, they had maybe 50+ cool posters with bands like Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, King Diamond, Helloween, Manowar etc.
To bad many of them were quite expensive. But i got one of the Grave Digger poster for 2 € and the other for free since i bought a couple of albums from there, so that was a good deal :)

Nowt wrong with Nickelback. I don't get the hatred just because they're popular thing. Silver Side Up, apart from How You Remind Me, is heavy as fuck.

The thing that's great about Nickleback is that when they rip stuff off they do it with integrity: they only rip off stuff they've already done. But seriously, they're "mall metal" - it's cuddly and friendly and will fit nicely on a continous FM rotation thanks to a lack of depth in any of their material.
I love AMG's last line of their review of Nickleback's newest album: "Which means, despite all their newly developed relative nuances, Nickelback remain unchanged: they're still unspeakably awful."

The farthest I ever got with Pokemon was past the 4th gym. Somewhere after that, (even though I always acknowledged it) I realized how irritating it was gonna be to get all 150 without more buying considering a) the 2 you don't get at the beginning never show up anywhere in the game, and b) that stupid trading shit. So I kinda drooped out of it.

For sure. The DVD with this is nice, it includes:
Silent Cries and Anarchy Divine promo videos, both high quality. It's highlight is the "No Exit Tour Documentary", it's an hour long assortment of footage shot by the band and roadies on tour, including off-stage antics, about 30 minutes worth of decent quality live footage, and a very funny short movie the band shot in which Steve Zimmerman kills all the other band members (ironic, eh?). There's also a video of Valley of the Dolls live in Philly from that tour, but I haven't watched it yet.
And yeah, that ATG DVD is fucking terrible.

Shot and editted real nice, the performance is top notch, and the presence of the Primal Fear, Bruce solo, and Sinner tracks are a great bonus. I think Bruce's vocals on Tears of the Dragon are incredible, not surprising being it was like a two song performance not on tour.

Get the one and only album by Thoten, called Beyond The Tomorrow. It's a great CD. Renato was the lead singer.
And look for the debut solo album by Frank Schieber sometime this year. He played on the Tribuzy album. Renato sings a couple of tracks.

I think this poem sums it up pretty well.
Sir Alex Fraser Tyler 1742-1813
"The average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed thorugh this sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependency; from dependency back into bondage."

So what do you think -- have we passed through apathy and arrived at dependency now?
I'm not sure, if I had to generalize the population I'd say we're complacent now, and becoming more and more apathetic. But I don't think every part of the country is at the same stage.
So what do you think -- have we passed through apathy and arrived at dependency now?
What would we be dependent on though?

Surely they're not counting the live version off Fuck You And Then Some?
It's "E.vil N.ever D.ies" on The Years Of Decay. Three clues to this are a) the fact that the first letters of each word spell "END," b) right before the heavy section of the song, they play the outro from the song "Under The Infulence" just like it began with the outro to "The Nightmare continues," and c) the riff to the original Overkill song is heard near the end of song.

See, you say it's not eclectic because you're missing all the stuff that makes it such. Haha. For the most part his solo albums, Masterplan, and Allen/Lande are all pretty grounded in the same style.

I dunno. The Snakes, Vagabond... still rock, just older and not as heavy.
Beyond Twilight definitely still in the same vane as the rest. More progressive, obviously, but still the same stuff.
Ark releases I don't have, but they were just power metal weren't they?
Nikolo Kotzev's stuff all sounds the same, and is all, more or less, power metal. Maybe with a bit more symphonic/operatic flavouring.
The only thing in that list I didn't know about is Mundanus Imperium. Never heard of that one. I knew about all the rest, just didn't seem any need to list all of it when it's all in the same vane  (you're missing Ayreon - 01011001 (2008) ;))

Certainly not. Check out Burn the Sun. Great album, but probably one of the most unique albums I've heard... very progressive and experimental.
