Gee..I live in America, where there are no genocides or third world clinics...So its pretty pointless. And if everyone advocated a single cause, that one thing would become resolved, but everything else would go to hell.....I think you are stuck on the idea that because we are so different, you have to pick a fight everytime I post..

but, cmon just because those things dont happen in america means we should look the other way . . . but apparently to you possessing a gun so you can fight our tyrannical government is far more important than helping the thousands of malnourished children in other countries :eyes:

Are they good? This summer I am expanding my paranoid dystopia readings, and throwing in some early (revolutionary) Western philosophy, along with some Eastern Philosophy. This will be my summer of enlightenment. I want to get into all the old philosophers, thinkers, political scientists, satirists, etc....

If you (MD888), Bouville, or Brady could point me in the direction of some really KICKASS stuff, I would appreciate it very much, and I would be better suited to discuss worldly issues with you.

EDIT: I am also gonna start reading Black Rednecks and White Liberals which dispels many stereotypes, offers a plethera of factors that cause poverty (besides racism), and presents a number of thought provoking ideas, such as the fact that what the media and American culture portrays as the "authentic black culture" is derived heavily from earlier forms of dysfunctional white "redneck" culture in both America and the United Kingdom.

Did anyone say you were? "Conservative" doesn't necessarily mean Republican.

And Brady is absolutely right. Unless you're just fucking with us and have completely different political opinions than you say you do, then we all have a pretty good idea where you stand on issues.

Nevermind.....The main thing was that you said I wasnt allowed to dissent against anything. If you think being a moderate-Conservative automatically prohibits me from disagreeing with my government, then my earlier response is valid: you know nothing about what I believe. I am more libertarian than conservative.

Anyway...I bought the Dissent sticker, RKBA sticker, Malcolm X quote sticker, and a Ron Paul 08 sticker.

When have I ever forced myself in the "moderate-conservative" box? And when have I ever said that I agree with everything the government does, and as a conservative, I can never dissent at all?

Simple, Sony hates you.

Sony would love nothing more than to see you and your family suffer. Sony is like that psycho-ex who you had a few good times with, but was too clingy and the sex got boring. Now it's over and Sony is still stewing about it by leaving you voice mail asking for another chance and promising it "can change." :D

Honest opinion: Good, not great. No ground broken, but some decent tunes and good melodies. Better then Down to Earth. iTunes is an especially good deal. I paid $9.99 and got the 10 track album plus a pre-order bonus and an iTunes bonus track. Nice.

As an Ozzy fan though, I really love it. I didn't really care for DTE. There's a couple duds on this album, for sure, but there's some really strong tracks too, like the title track and "Trap Door."

Yeah, I agree. Prowler is more straight-up grindcore, which you can get from lots of other bands, but the way they mix in death, thrash, and grind on Terrifyer and Phantom Limb is what really makes those albums special.

Pure Inc. - A New Day's Dawn

We're getting Kamelot in London too, with Threshold and Serenity, which is probably the best one off gig bill of the year. I saw Kamelot in March at ProgPower UK II and they were awesome!

I'm up in Cape Cod, and I always, ALWAYS find sweet stuff up here. The other day on vinyl I bought:

Rush - Signals
Van Halen - Van Halen II

There's a local flea market up here that is hosted every Saturday and Sunday, year round, every year for longer than I've been alive. Anyway, I was there today and there was a guy with a kick ass music section. I got:

Maiden - Killers 12"
Maiden England poster (original 1990 print)
Maiden s/t promo poster (original 1980 print)
Maiden's Behind the Iron Curtain video (original 1984 copy)

I wet myself at that guys stand.
