Just for the record, I just accidentally figured out how to make the "coin" sound with my guitar.

5th fret B natural harmonic, 5th fret E natural harmonic... correct?

That works, but if you drag your thumb knuckle and get an artificial harmonic out of 5th fret D then 5th fret G, it sounds even more like the sound effect I think.
