Ok it’s simple pick your ultimate metal band made up of all musicians that are well dead. Here’s my list:

Paul Baloff – Vocals
Chuck Schuldiner – Guitar & Vocals
Dennis “Piggy” D’amour – Guitar
Cliff Burton – Bass
Gar Samuleson – Drums

hendrix - guitar
bonham - drums
my grandpa - vocals

not sure how "metal" it would be, but it would still rock

Good to see Criss on your list. I am proud of my work as the #1 Savatage pusher around.

I love Nirvana but I'm sure that like myself the other Nirvana fans on the board wouldn't put Kurt into a METAL list. If it where a rock list I would put him up there. The thing I’m surprised about is that nobody has made a list with Darrel Abbott.

Well, I dislike Dimebag Darrell and Jimi Hendrix, so who does that leave? ;)

Randy Rhoads... I've never been as into him as everyone else, but he was still an amazing player.

By the way, I was half-tempted to use Matt Barlow as my vocalist, due to his current career state.

Well, he's kinda played out, that's why.

Why?

He butchers solos by trying to be too freestyle, and his overall songwriting is quite lacking in my opinion.

Anyway, I like Hendrix more now than when I posted that, but I'm still not a big fan.
