If all goes well, HEAVEN AND HELL should be hitting the road in early 2007.

It's not a done deal yet.... but it's getting closer!

Very cool, but kinda weird how Bill Ward's coming along for the ride, since he's one of the guys who thinks that Sabbath isn't Sabbath without the four original members. Then again, it's not 'Black Sabbath'

He probably needs the money.

Exactly. This isn't Black Sabbath.

Seriously though, Bill's a good guy, and he did drum on Heaven and Hell. Now, he didn't drum on Mob Rules or Dehumanizer, but, if you'll remember... he played a few shows with Black Sabbath on the Cross Purposes Tour, so these new shows (if they happen) will not be the first time he's played Black Sabbath material he didn't originally drum on.

Dio's a class act all the way though. I love how he calls the Ozzy set the "best part of it all."

Maybe when you're that short you just never bother getting on a high horse in the first place...

Yea, I noticed that too. Very heartwarming (especially to an Ozzy fan like myself).

I think this is great. The Dio years is my favorite Sabbath stuff... Though Glenn Hughes is the best singer Sabbath ever had... though no one even remembers him.

Because he sang on an album that was supposed to be an Iommi solo album, and then we he did tour, he had to drop after a few weeks because he sounded like shit due to an injury (you ever hear those bootlegs?!)

Frankly, I don't care for his voice, but I do like some of his singing on Fused.

Weren't Tony and Geezer supposed to do a tour together with each of their seperate solo albums last year?

Well... they weren't "supposed" to, exactly, but there was definitely a lot of talk of that happening. However, I think it boiled down to Glenn not comitting and the fact that... well... let's face it, Geezer's album has basically sold next to nothing. In fact, I've seen the actual from-the-label reports and let me tell you, you will not even believe how little it sells :(

does it hit the thousands?
Yes, it did. I don't remember exactly, but I think it's somewhere around 5,000. However, lately, it has been selling in the single digits. A month!

The whole CD is excellent. Danger Zone has a great riff. The last four songs are just very cool.

That's pretty high actually. Circumstances such as time, date, and cost which are beyond my control will dictate the outcome. I have the desire.

Yeah, fair enough... hopefully it's a relatively inexpensive tour with good dates for all of us :D

As long as there's a date within 2 hours of me, ticket prices of $40-something or less, and it doesn't occur on the same date as something else I can NOT get out of, I'm totally there.
