Hmmm....that's really a pretty great setlist

I would have liked Postmortem, that's my only complaint.

I wish they wouldn't open with South of Heaven. It's not a fast enough song for an opener.

And I hope they don't play the same exact set tonight. That'd be no fun

yeah SOH is more of an encore song. They should open with AOD or even Disciple

True...it should have swapped places with Angel of Death.

Why SOH as an opener:confused: Makes no sense.

As usual, Show No Mercy is incredibly under-represented, and they still aren't playing Skeletons Of Society, but otherwise:party:

I like the set, except for SOH as the opener, it definitely is better as an encore. War Ensemble should be the opener. :horns:

Bodom's set is good too, for its length.

Screw all y'all, SOH is an excellent opener. And its cool that they brought back The Anti-christ.

But that's it? Those guys are capable of playing much more than 14 songs.

That's not correct...their setlist was:

Intro
Silent Night, Bodom Night
Needled 24/7
In Your Face
Angels Don't Kill
Living Deadbeat
Hate Me!
Downfall

and a side not, they sounded terrible!! I'm a HUGE Bodom fan, but they sounded WAY off!!!

Could you post a new thread of this with a small review and both correct setlists? Thanks :D

WOOHOOOOOOO!! Slayer kick ass..

I'm going to the show tomorrow night (saturday) in Lowell Mass. I can't wait. The energy they put out during their show is amazing.

I think SOH is a great opener. That riff is so fuckin cool to come out to.. Ba ba binini ni ni ni ni ni ni na na...!~!!!! I can't wait. Are any of the other bands good? Whos the best besides Slayer ? Who played first in Jersey, Mastadon or children of bodom? They are switching off every show..
I put slayers songs in order of the set list from Jersey on my ipod and I'm jamming it!!! thanx

  I think the new untitled song is "Colony of Birchmen", because Brann had talked about debuting that one.

Oh, and just because I know Pavo especially loves these, I will give my pre-determined opinion of the new songs:

Circle Of The Cysquatch is going to rip the heads off little children and throw them to the wolves.

Yeah, but Colony of Birchmen is about the tree people Brent promised...

Excellent. Here's my opinion of this one too:

The song will run over small villages en route to desecrating large urban centers populated with mallcore fags.

I am making Blood Mountain my pre-emptive pick for Album of the Year.....and with the competition you know how much of an honor that is. That's how strongly I believe the album will own. I am not gonna lower my expectations at all; I'm ready for the album of the decade, the new millenium's MOP or NOTB.

Yeah. I'm absolutely ready for it to own my soul and the year. Maiden's new album will pale in comparison. And hopefully the tour in BM's support will allow me to fucking finally see Mastodon.

Lemme be more accurate, and this will piss you off since you're such a diehard fanboy :D

Maiden's new album will sound like Dance of Death, which sounded like Brave New World, which sounded overbloated. It will be a record that I will thoroughly enjoy, being that it is a Maiden record, but Mastodon are fresher.

Let me restate my position:

I sincerely doubt that, ALL of that;) Despite the fact that I've toned it down with Maiden lately in light of the fact that they have kept a low profile lately and there's a new Tool tour/record, I would still go to war for them, far sooner than I would for any country, so let's not get into an argument here;)
