Why the hell is he doing Sabbath songs that weren't even written when he was in the band?

No kiddin'. So much for that not wanting to live in the shadow of Sabbath

He should really tap into his solo material more, since this is the tour for his new album...

Looks like a mix of a younger Gene Hackman and Rob Halford

He sang those Sabbath tunes many times over the years. If he likes singing it (COTS) and it sounds good, who really cares?

I will say that it would be nice if he did more from his new album.

Bottom line......I'd go.

Personally, I don't think Bruce sounds very good on Killers, nor do I think Dio is great on Iron Man. The difference is that Martin will sound excellent on the COTS.

my point is that he is basically playing covers, when he should be playing stuff from his time with sabbath or his solo material

I don't know if I'd take it that far, but he certainly does it well.

I'd definitely go see him. For those that haven't heard it, Scream is a decent album, I'd recommend it if you like Tony.

It's bit difficult to locate at the moment, thus it is a bit pricey. That makes me a bit hesitant. What genre would you describe it as? Traditional metal? Hard rock?

Hard rock. If you want a sample, PM me (although I'm leaving in a minute, but I'll get back to you ;) )
